Theodore Frieslaar

Comrade Theodore was a dedicated member. He served as Deputy Chairperson of Oudtshoorn Branch till his death. The Spirit and commitment of comrade Theodore is what makes SADTU such a wonderful, powerful union. Not only was he a committed leader but an unselfish person and truly a passionate man. He was just as dedicated to his family as his career. It is a profound loss, not only for his family/friends and comrades, but for Education. We look back on a life well-lived, we are reminded of his commitment, compassion, humanity and integrity. Theo was a big tree that has fallen. We salute you and we will never forget you.
