Derek Dreyer

COVID 19 has deprived us the members of SADTU Cape Town Branch the services of our Treasurer Comrade Dereck John Dreyer. A humble servant of the union, whom we are all going to miss and remember. Comrade Dreyer was a leader of the movement since the 80’s as a student and a revolutionary teacher. He was a member of the ANC Cissi Gool branch and dedicated fighter for freedom and equality. He served as a BEC member in Athlone East for 3 terms. When there was a SADTU activity, Derick was there; a true example of an activist for Equality and Justice.
