Khayakazi Ratsibe

At the time of her death, Comrade Khayakazi Ratsibe was serving as the Coastal Deputy Regional Secretary. She was elected into this position after serving for a long time as Mitchell’s Plain Branch Deputy Chairperson. Cde Khayakazi was a teacher at Caravelle PS where she was elected as a Site Steward around early 2000s. Comrade Khayakazi was a humble cadre and a good representative of our members. She was dedicated to the task of serving others and was well respected by her peers and comrades. She was a cadre who had a positive demeanour, she respected her peers and leaders.
